How exciting! Last night, Huddle.net won the Best B2B/Enterprise Start-up at The Europas, the inaugural TechCrunch Europe Awards 2009 for European and EMEA tech companies. Huddle.net’s founders Alastair Mitchell and Andy McLoughlin were Highly Commended in the Best Start-up Founders category.
More than 400 entrants were voted by 50,000 people and the results merged with those from 19 special industry advisors from across Europe. In the Best B2B/Enterprise start-up category, Huddle competed with Zendesk (highly commended), BlueKiwi, FreeAgent Central, VideoPlaza. The full results can be found here.

We'll never be invited back to this venue. Nice one, Mitchell.
The Europas award will join our BusinessWeek top 50 tech start-ups, Red Herring 100, Financial Times top 10 promising start-ups, Gartner’s Cool Vendor and few other awards on the Huddle mantelpiece. So much for being modest.
We’d like to congratulate all the winners and finalists. Here’s to the next year! And we will see you at DrinkTank on 22 July.

Nice Pic!
Was this taken before or after Ali sprayed everyone with champagne?

I got soaked. Standing to the right just out of the picture. Luckily, like all good space hitch-hikers, I had a towel.
