Huddle from Microsoft Office
Posted on 30. Mar, 2010 by Luke in New Features
After an extended public beta period we are proud to announce our Huddle add-in for Microsoft Office which lets you access your Huddle files directly from within Microsoft Office. This great tool lets you save your local files directly into Huddle with one click, view and edit files, add new versions, and send notifications without going near a browser!
As before you can:
- Open files directly from Huddle in Word, Powerpoint and Excel
- Save a new version straight back to Huddle
- Save new files directly into Huddle
And thanks to some great feedback from you we’ve added some great new features:
- You can now choose to lock a file for editing when opening it, and the lock state will be reflected to other users in Huddle and in the menu bar in Office
- You can now notify others of your update when saving files back to Huddle
- and fixed a number of bugs!
Download the add-ins from our apps page!
We hope this add-in works well for you, please visit our Support Forums or Feedback Forum if you have any feedback or suggestions for future enhancements.
