Huddle, the world turns to Twitter for some #ashrelief

As air travel continues to be disrupted following the eruption of Eyjafjallajokull on Wednesday, the Huddle team has suffered minor blips.
Huddle co-founder Andy McLoughlin (@Bandrew), who was supposed to have returned to the office last Friday, is now guaranteed to miss TechCrunch’s Geekn Rolla on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Charlie Blake Thomas (@lepapa), due to return from his holiday in Spain on Wednesday, has provided us with visibility of the transport situation:

With flights from London airports suspended until 1am tomorrow and concern mounting that the ash cloud could hit America by 6pm today, we’re hoping that Charlie might be able to take advantage of one of the ‘airmadas’ to arrive back to the UK.
Or perhaps a Twitter-organised rescue mission, not unlike TV historian Dan Snow’s attempt to rescue stranded Britons, would help.
If you’re stranded in London, let us know. We’d be happy to help you with office space etc. where possible. There’s DrinkTank on Wednesday too, email Zuzanna@huddle.net if you’d like to attend. It’s the least we can do.
