At Huddle.net, we love the public sector. With so many departments and organizations trying to work together across boundaries and borders, effective collaboration is vital. Huddle work with DCMS, BIS, NHS, Home Office and also boast thousands of local government users.
Amongst them is Government Skills who aim to improve the delivery of public services by developing the skills of people working in government departments, non-departmental public bodies and the Armed Forces across the United Kingdom. In its day-to-day operations it deals with employers across many departments including learning and development specialists and HR practitioners. Government Skills chose Huddle to quickly disseminate information to both internal and external stakeholders and to make training easy and efficient.
Find out more about how Government Skills improved its recruitment with Huddle and why they have nicknamed one of their workspace the ‘Cuddle’.

Is there a good reason why Huddle hasn’t upgraded to AJAX? It’s really annoying having to go on to a separate page for every…button…I…click… Please tell me this is in the pipeline.
All the best,
Andy

Hi Andy. We’re using AJAX reasonably extensively across the app (take a look at the dashboard and file manager) and will continue to re-work pages as we add new functionality / make usability improvements. There will always be an aspect of moving to separate pages as we deep-link to pages from notification emails etc. Feel free to let us know which areas are particularly painful, though, and we’ll see what we can do.
