Last year we announced that we were working on a new version of the Huddle Files area that makes it easier than ever to view content and conversations in one central location.
If you’re a customer, you had the opportunity to switch between the new Huddle folder page and the previous version and send us your comments, questions and feedback. We listened, changed some things, fixed a few bugs and added loads of improvements (see the full list).
Most importantly, we’re happy to announce that the new Huddle Files is now the default version for all customers!
We’re eager to tell you about some of the things you can expect as you work with the new Huddle:
- An easier way to work on content with teams. The new interface is designed to provide users with detailed information about all content stored in Huddle—at a glance. We’ve made significant improvements to our navigation, browsing and searching of folders, that will help you find the content you want, faster and easier than ever.
- A faster and more powerful platform that leverages integrated technologies. Work with large files? It’s not a problem. Huddle can handle uploads of up to 10GB, without slowing down the network. We even support the upload of entire folder structures. The new functionality use our improved APIs – developers can build innovative technologies that extend Huddle’s feature set and utilize the platform’s power, speed, security and ease of use.
- Using Huddle on your mobile devices is better than ever. If you don’t have the Huddle mobile apps, be sure to download them today (for free) so that you can easily access, edit and share content with colleagues wherever you are. We’ve made significant improvements to our iOS apps to make them faster and smoother for everyone—and as a bonus; you’re now able to load photos directly into Huddle workspaces from your iPad.
