Only one Huddle: Google rebrands its group comms feature

At the beginning of July we brought your attention to the fact that Google launched the Huddle feature as a part of the Google+ project.  As of today, this feature is no longer called Huddle, but Messenger. Google announced the name change of its group communication tool on its blog this morning (PST).

We are obviously very pleased to have our own name back as we’ve grown quite attached to it.  We’d like to thank our customers, industry supporters and fans for your kind words during this period. You guys rock!

Personally, I can finally breathe a sigh of relief that our brand monitoring will go back to normal. Just as soon as the football (the real, American kind) season ends.
