W is for FIFA World Cup

My brain is stuck on one thing today. No amount of arguing, negotiating or even begging with it seems to change that fact. The only thing W can stand for is The FIFA 2010 World Cup.
As a South African it has more meaning to me than ever before and I hope you’ll forgive me for being a little obsessed. But if you are a soccer or football fan, I hope you’ll find this post helpful. Of Zen and Computing have created a list where you can watch the games live on the internet.
Live Streaming Sites for World Cup:
ESPN 3: The online streaming version of the popular sports network in the U.S.A.
ESPN Mobile TV: For Sprint customers on the new HTC EVO smartphone.
CBC Sports: Canada’s national public broadcaster.
Optus: An Australian telecommunications carrier will be live streaming 2010 World Cup matches for free to customers with compatible 3G mobile devices.
TVU Networks: A live streaming Internet TV platform.
BBC Sport: Will broadcast many of the matches.
ITV: Will broadcast many of the matches.
The FIFA 2010 Schedule can be found here.
NOTE: Remember there will probably be some regional restrictions on live streaming.
Go Bafana Bafana!
