File management

Multiple file uploads

Quickly and easily upload multiple files into your workspace with Huddle’s simple interface. Store and share any size and type of file (Office docs, PDF, images, video and more). Uploading numerous project files can be done in one go, making online file storage easy.

There are two ways of adding multiple files into a Huddle workspace. Clicking the ‘Upload Files’ option allows you to drag and drop multiple files to upload individually into Huddle. You can upload up to 50 files at one time, assign and notify people and share information with others quickly and easily.

Alternatively, you can zip all the documents that you wish to upload from your computer or server into your workspace and then click on Huddle’s ‘Upload Zipped Files’ option. You will then be able to upload the zip file and Huddle will automatically unpack its contents into individual files in your chosen folder.

If you wish to upload a zip file without the contents being unzipped by Huddle, treat the file like a normal document and upload it individually using the ‘Upload a single file’ option.

Huddle’s multiple file upload feature enables you to share files with team members and save significant amounts of time. Huddle is easy to set up, use and manage making it an ideal FTP alternative for your organization.

Folder structure

Create your own folder and sub-folder structure to share your files with team members in just a few clicks. Add new folders and upload multiple files at any time during your project. Adopting familiar folder structures, similar to those on your desktop or server, ensures that Huddle is easy to navigate and more intuitive for users.

Creating new folders and sub-folder structures is simple and they can be organized by title, size or date modified. You can store and share any size and type of file (Office docs, PDF, images, video and more) and all content relating to a project can be kept in one secure online space. Team members immediately know where to find the information they need and can easily access required information when colleagues are on vacation or off sick.

Sorting

Sort your files and folders by title, size, date modified or approval status. Personalize the way that you work. Huddle’s sorting options help you to navigate and view your workspaces the way that you want to. Giving teams and individuals the option to sort their content the way they wish to encourages higher user adoption.

Search

When working on multiple projects and campaigns with numerous parties, you don’t want to spend large amounts of time searching for the information that you need. Huddle’s search engine looks within the text of files to find exactly what is required. It can be used to search for any item in Huddle and includes titles, descriptions and content in the search. If you can’t remember the title of the document that you’re trying to locate, it is no longer an issue.

Regardless of the number of workspaces you have, you can choose to search across all of them or select a specific one. The search function produces a list of items that match the words searched for with the closest match at the top.

If Huddle is being used as a secure knowledgebase or intranet within the organization, employees should no longer have problems finding the information they need.
