Lite users can view or download files and comment on documents, files, whiteboards and discussions. They can also take advantage of free mobile application to access Huddle, which include Huddle for iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry and Android.
File sharing & management
Online file storage
Huddle encrypts all data exchanged with the server to industry standard levels as well as authenticating the server itself to the user for secure online file storage.
Folder structure
Create your own folder and sub-folder structure to share your files with team members in just a few clicks. Add new folders at any time during your project.
Sorting
Sort your files and folders by title, size, date modified or approval status.
Search
Huddle's powerful search engine looks within the text of uploaded files so that you always find what you need immediately.
Media viewer
With our media viewer, you can view videos directly in Huddle. You no longer have to download files in order to view content, you can simply view them within your workspaces. Our new video and audio player enables you to play, pause and scan through your content. Supported formats include all MPEG-14 extensions, such as MP3, M4a (AAC), M4V (H.264), MP4, M4P, M4B and M4r.
File viewer and editor
Easily view image files and documents without having to download them or navigatie away from the browser. Online software allows you to view, create and edit Word and Excel files directly in the browser without needing to download them or install software. You can view and work on files from any location and on any computer.
Multiple file uploads
Quickly and easily upload multiple files into your workspace with Huddle's simple interface. Store and share any size and type of file (Office docs, PDF, images, video and more).
Document versioning
Huddle manages the full version history of every file. Lock files for editing and check them out of Huddle so that conflicting changes can't be made. When you've saved your changes simply upload a new version and check the file back in again.
Notifications
Notifications sent directly to you by other users in your workspaces appear in your email inbox and on the dashboard page.
Approvals
Request and view approvals of files. Allow Huddle to automatically chase users on your behalf to sign documents off by the required date. See at-a-glance which users have or have not yet approved documents.
Full audit trail
Audit trails are automatically added every time an action takes place against each file; approvals, new versions, downloads. As a result you know everything that has happened to all the files that you share.
Office integration
Access documents stored online in Huddle directly from your Office desktop applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Save and upload your Office desktop documents directly into any of your online workspaces. View and edit files, add new versions, request approvals and send notifications without opening a browser window.

Huddle Sync intelligently chooses the documents relevant to you for full sync across your devices. It allows you to work on files when offline, safe in the knowledge that all your documents will update seamlessly the next time you're online.
Secure content management across the enterprise
Complete visibility of all content across the entire enterprise that may be of interest to a user, considerably reducing duplication of effort. Users have access to the relevant content in the corporate knowledge store at all times and can download other files of interest as needed, which reduces required bandwidth. If a device that holds enterprise data is lost or stolen, it can be wiped remotely.

Interactive commenting via email. With the Huddle email integration, users can respond to a content notification via any email client and their comments will be directly added to the relevant whiteboard, discussion, file or task. Without disrupting their workflow, all relevant parties are notified of the update via email and organizations can now track and access all conversations and metadata surrounding a piece of content.
