Keeping up to speed with all the projects that you're involved in can be an uphill battle, especially if you spend a lot of time away from your desk. So, we've made it easy to discover the latest team, project and collaboration activity right from your Android device.

If you're managing a team whether remotely, with colleagues geographically distributed across multiple time zones, or with everyone in one place, it can be a real headache to check on the progress of key activities and tasks. Traditionally, to garner progress updates, remote managers would have to resort to email or time consuming conference calls.  That’s why, after a successful launch on Huddle for iOS, we've brought the popular Activity Feed feature to Huddle for Android.

Easily accessible via the top level menu of the app, the Activity Feed shows activity across all of your workspaces ‘at a glance’, so, even if you’re not working remotely, it’s now easier for you to see if a member of the team has uploaded a new version of a file, updated a task, or added a comment; even during non-productive time like your daily commute, or when you’re in the queue for your morning latté. If something grabs your attention, you can tap on the activity to go straight to the document and associated comments, and even add comments of your own.

Huddle Activity Feed on Android

Feeding your curiosity

With the advent of social media channels such as Twitter and Facebook, we’ve become accustomed to the concept of ‘information feeds’ as a way to discover new and interesting information; Huddle’s Activity Feed harnesses this approach to make it easy for you to find out about things that you’re not directly involved in, or weren’t otherwise aware of—you can even see when new people join workspaces you’re a member of.

When we introduced the activity feed on the Huddle for iOS app, we knew it was an important feature and would be well received, but it surpassed our expectations and quickly become one of the biggest sources of document views in the iOS app – we’re anticipating the same success with our Android users.

Don’t miss a thing - download the Huddle for Android app from the Google Play store now.
