Having two founders is better than having just one. Having two founders who I’m not afraid to let loose on an unsuspecting conference audience is even better.

At FOTE 2008 (Future of Technology in Education) organised by ULCC, Alastair spoke about social collaboration for staff and students. Just a week later, Andy presented his thoughts on how to prosper outside Silicon Valley at a session at the Future of Web Apps (FOWA) put up by Carsonified.

Ali used ‘C’ word in his presentation (for ‘collaboration’) and threw in some Dilbert cartoons. Those who weren’t in the audience had access to a continuous Twitter commentary, which included tweets such as ‘I can’t see the cartoon, Huddle man’.

Andy opted for ‘B’ word – ‘bollocks’ and a picture of Fonzie from Happy Days. He got embarrassed not once, but twice when Simon Wardley called Huddle ‘a shining example of a London success story’ and ‘inspiration for everyone here’ or something along those lines.

At FOTE 2008, we sponsored the drinks reception. At FOWA 2008 we enjoyed beer sponsored by our DrinkTank buddies, Rummble and Tactile CRM. Both events absolutely rocked, for different reasons. If you missed them, here’s what you can do:
