Slack has become one of the most popular enterprise messaging apps available, and for many it’s now the preferred means for sharing updates across teams. That’s why integrating Huddle with Slack is so useful for alerting teams to new files that have been added to your Huddle Workspaces.

It’s simple to do using Microsoft Power Automate. Just set a Huddle folder that you want to monitor and when a new file is added, you’ll be alerted via your chosen Slack channel.

WHY USE THIS INTEGRATION?

You’re waiting on a client, or a colleague, to drop a new file into Huddle and want an instant alert through your preferred enterprise messaging app when it’s added. You might also want to ensure the alert is shared across a wide group of people (a Slack Channel).

The integration can be created in Microsoft Power Automate in minutes. Watch the video below to see how it’s done.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS INTEGRATION

  • A Huddle license (using a Huddle Plus or Premier plan that has been enabled for Microsoft Power Automate). Please speak with your Huddle account administrator to confirm if your account is enabled for Microsoft Power Automate or email help@huddle.com

  • An enterprise O365 license with access to Microsoft Power Automate, or an individual Power Automate plan.

  • Slack (Power Automate may require approval through your Slack administrator).
