So what are you doing 28-30 April this year? Huddle will be at the Innovation Pavilion at the Internet World 2009 along with Webjam, Siondo, Fresh Networks and Xero.

The Internet World show last year had one major flaw – there was little, if any innovation and no start-ups exhibiting. We have so many fantastic web companies in the UK, but their presence at the main tech shows, mainly due to cost, is very limited. Internet World is only like the biggest internet show in the UK, yet last year Huddle was the only web start-up around. Shameful.

So we’ve been working with CMP Media (the guys who run the show) and between us we’ve decided to do something about it to try to get the thriving tech scene involved.

At Internet World 2009 we will be launching a new Innovation Pavilion dedicated solely to start-ups. Internet World takes place over three days, 28 – 30 April, 2009 in Earl’s Court. Last year it was attended by 13,000 people. If you want to join us there are a few stand spaces left. Here’s what you get for your £2k.

  • Internet Access (shared, so not high bandwidth – you can buy your own connection if you want)
  • 10 minute elevator pitch in Masterclass Theatre
  • Dedicated page on the website – listing all participants with company descriptions, with opportunity to include embedded videos
  • Listing on the website as an exhibitor
  • Listing in the show guide as an exhibitor
  • Dedicated page in the show guide about the Innovation Pavilion
  • Profile of participating companies in The Buzz newsletter – opportunity for editorial explaining what the company does
  • Promoted as a major feature/attraction at the show via Internet World promotions (direct mail piece, emails, website etc)
