Are you a brilliant student programmer? Then have a look at Screencast 09. It’s a competition for students and former students at the Reading University who want to show off their programming skills and share them in instructional videos with the rest of the world.

It’s easy to join in. Work as a team, produce a video, post it on a video sharing site i.e. YouTube and should you win, they are lots of prizes, plus your video will be featured on DeveloperFusion.com, the global developer community.

To qualify for the Best Team Entry, sponsored by Huddle.net, two or more people must have made a significant contribution to the production of the video. For the winners, we have Huddle.net Plus accounts free for a year, each worth £300.

You can find out more about the competition by downloading the guide . You can also drop Chris, Huddle’s former intern extraordinaire, a line at siu07cjaATreading.ac.uk, or search RedGloo for “screencast 09”.
